100 Year Anniversary Celebration

All Events Are Held at the Society Office (Unless Otherwise Noted)

On August 17, 2024, we came together to celebrate 100 years of the Philomatheon Society of the Blind!

We had a wonderful turnout and cannot thank everyone for coming and supporting the society. Mayor Sherer stopped by and shared a few words, we remembered our members who could not join us, shared a wonderful meal, heard some great stories from our guest speakers, and enjoyed some live entertainment!

We have done a lot of work over these 100 years, and look forward to continuing to do this work as the job is not yet done.

A few of our favorite photos from the celebration!
